Each year the City dedicates funds to maintain local roadways. Maintenance consists of milling a few inches of existing asphalt and replacing it with a new asphalt surface.  Additional items of work include roadway patches for failed pavement areas and replacement of failed curb, sidewalk, and driveway approaches.  Projects are selected based on the structural condition of the pavement or PCI (pavement condition index). The 2023 Arterial Street Maintenance Program will focus on segments of Creek Bend, Bass Pro, Smyers, Mays, Deep Wood, Hidden Valley, Bowman/Tiger Trail, and Chandler Creek.
