Place 2 Councilmember Rene Flores and Place 6 Councilmember Hilda Montgomery were re-elected to City Council in the May 7 election. Results were made official after being canvassed by the City Council at a special called meeting on May 17.

Flores defeated Caitlin Leggett with 60.86% percent of the vote, and Montgomery ran unopposed.

A swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place later this month.
