Round Rock has again been named one of the fastest-growing cities in America — this time by WalletHub.
Coming in at No. 17 in the nation, Round Rock is also considered the 6th fastest-growing city in Texas according to the ranking, listed behind Midland, Pearland, McKinney, College Station, and Frisco. Austin is ranked one spot behind Round Rock at No. 18.
To determine where the fastest local economic growth has occurred in the U.S., WalletHub compared 515 cities of varying population sizes based on 15 key measures of both growth and decline over a period of seven years. Their data set ranges from population growth, to unemployment rate decrease, to growth in regional GDP per capita.
