The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is proud to announce Reggie Davidson, Recreation Manager with Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department as the winner of its 2016 Diversity Scholarship Program. Awarded annually, NRPA’s Diversity Scholarship aims to inspire young professionals to participate in and pursue a future leadership role within NRPA — the leading organization for park and recreation professionals nationwide.
“The future of our organization is dependent on the participation of today’s young professionals and students,” said Barbara Tulipane, NRPA President and CEO. “That’s why we are proud to offer a fellowship and scholarship program that provides an in-depth view of our organization and its governing bodies.”
The award winners will be recognized at the NRPA 2016 Annual Conference where they will meet with NRPA leadership and attend various conference sessions and meetings with an assigned mentor.
