The assistant principal of operations at IDEA Public Schools in Round Rock has been arrested for inappropriately touching a student on school property last month.

Aaron Freeman, 49, has been charged with Indecency with a Child by Contact, a second-degree felony.

The incident was reported to the Round Rock Police Department by the student, prompting an immediate investigation. Following the investigation, Round Rock detectives obtained an arrest warrant from the Travis County District Attorney’s Office. Freeman was located by the U.S. Marshals and taken into custody.

He is currently being held at the Williamson County Jail.
