Dell Diamond ranked among top minor league ballparks in U.S.

Baseball America recently ranked Round Rock’s Dell Diamond as No. 4 on a list of the top Minor League Baseball parks in the U.S.

The rankings were compiled with a focus on one simple question: “In all of your travels, which park would you be most likely to return to if you were a fan?” The publication lauded the Fireball Grill, serving up burgers made with beef raised on owner Nolan Ryan’s farm, as well as the venue’s spa party area and rocking chairs.

Most notably the home of the Round Rock Express, Dell Diamond also hosts non-game day events like local elections, charity fundraisers and concerts. A new state-of-the-art LED concourse and exterior light system, freshly paved parking surfaces and a brand new center field hospitality area were recently installed. The field was featured in this week’s episode of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead after being used as a set location for the show in its most recent off-season.
