The City of Round Rock is developing design plans for an extension of Kenney Fort Boulevard from Old Settlers Boulevard to University Boulevard.
This project will connect current and new residents in east Round Rock with destinations in the community while alleviating congestion through neighborhoods and on other north-south roadways. The project is part of the City’s Transportation Master Plan which proactively addresses transportation challenges and opportunities associated with Round Rock’s growth.
The City is hosting an open house to share preliminary design plans with the community. The open house will be available online beginning Friday, Aug. 23 at 3 p.m. An in-person open house will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 5-7 p.m. at the Bob Bennett Building, 3400 Sunrise Road.
