The intersection of Chisholm Trail Road and CR 173 will be closed June 2-12. During the closure, crews will be reconstructing the existing intersection to include a new right-turn lane from Chisholm Trail Road to CR 173 and new through lanes to the Chisholm Trail Trade Center.

CR 173 will be closed just west of the Micro-Bac driveway while Chisholm Trail Road will be closed at the intersection with CR 173. Traffic will be detoured on the IH-35 southbound Frontage Road to Wolle Lane in order to access Chisholm Trail Road. Traffic exiting businesses on Chisholm Trail Road between CR 173 and Wolle Lane will be diverted to Wolle Lane or West Old Settler’s Boulevard to access the IH-35 southbound Frontage Road.

Drivers are reminded to be on the lookout for workers in the work area, reduce their speed when construction is ongoing and increase the spacing distance between their vehicles to reduce conflicts with potential required stops.
