PreK Playtime : The Moon and Beyond (18 months – 6 years)

We’re celebrating the upcoming solar eclipse with a series of One Community Four Books events!

Toddlers, preschoolers, and their caregivers can learn about the upcoming solar eclipse during three PreK Playtime sessions offered this week:

• 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, 2023
• 9:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023
• 9:30 – 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2023

We’ll have the Library’s 1st Floor Meeting Room loaded up with play activities and STEM stations for kids to explore at their own pace.

Families with children of all ages are welcome, but children ages 18 months – 6 years old will enjoy it best.

Please note, some stations will not be appropriate for children who put items in their mouths.

This activity is part of The Moon and Beyond, a series of events in September and October in support of RRPL’s One Community Four Books program. Some attendees will win a free pair of solar eclipse viewing glasses to use for the eclipses visible in Round Rock on Oct. 14, 2023 and April 8, 2024.
