Lunch and Learn: People and Places of Historic Importance in Round Rock

Guest Speakers: Pearson Ranch Middle School 7th Grade Texas History Students, Ms. Natalie Hall, Teacher

Get ready folks — we adults will be learning history from a talented group of 7th Graders!  Their topics will include:

  • Early settler Thomas Anderson (Washington Anderson’s father) who was deeded the “Otto Reinke Building”;
  • The Old Round Rock Stagecoach Inn, built 1848-1853 by John J. Harris;
  • The Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive and its significance to Round Rock and early Texas;
  • Hattie Cluck and her family’s contributions to the history of our area.

Bring your lunch – we will provide water and cookies.
