Basic NWS SKYWARN Training

Interested in becoming an official weather spotter for the National Weather Service (NWS)? Join the Round Rock Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and the NWS at Round Rock Public Library for an evening of Basic SKYWARN training. Participants will be provided training about flash flooding, hail, tornadoes and other severe weather, and will learn how to safely submit severe weather reports to the NWS. This training is free and open to the general public, including walk-ins.
