18th Annual Pioneer Day

Celebrate Pioneer Day where the Williamson Museum invites you to the 18th annual Pioneer Days at Old Settlers Association in Round Rock on Saturday, May 4, from 10 am – 3 pm. Sponsored in part by the City of Round Rock, the event is free and open to the public. Visitors will be able to dip candles, churn butter, make corn husk dolls and rag balls and wander through reenactment camps and chuck wagon areas. There will be live music, pioneer games, historic house tours and a fully stocked general store.

Texas Photography Festival founder David Valdez will be leading a special guided photo walk through Pioneer Day. This is your unique opportunity to photograph history through historic cabins, crafts, and demonstrators. The photo walk meets at the information tent at Pioneer Day.

Sponsored in part by the City of Round Rock, the event is free and open to the public.

Pioneer Day is prefaced by the Williamson Museum’s Chuckwagon Dinner on Friday, May 3, 2024: Saddle up for some cowboy fun at the Chuckwagon Dinner under the trees at Old Settlers Association. Tickets are $30 per person, $25 for members, $15 for children, and include a dutch oven dinner with all the fixins, beer, wine and sodas.
