Bulk Trash Pickup
As of this year, the City of Round Rock will no longer have a city-wide annual Spring Cleanup bulk pickup event. Instead, customers can now schedule one free bulk pickup per calendar year.
Just call Republic Services at 512-255-4980 to be added to the schedule and place acceptable bulk items at the curb by 7 a.m. on your assigned pickup day. Once you use your free bulk item pickup, you can still pay for additional bulk item pickups during the same calendar year (cost is based on size).
REMEMBER: You can always place up to seven bags or small items at the curb with your regular weekly pickup. Find out more at roundrocktexas.gov/garbage.
ACCEPTED ITEMS
- Non-Freon appliances (washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers and hot water heaters)
- Furniture
- Scrap metal
- Lumber (4 ft. length or smaller and all nails, staples, brads, etc. removed)
- Mattresses
NOT ACCEPTED ITEMS
- Freon appliances (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioner units or other appliances that at one time contained Freon)
- Automotive products (accepted at Recycling Center)
- Brush/tree limbs (see Brush Recycling)
- Chemicals
- Demolition/construction debris

- Tires
