Mobile Food Truck
The Prevention Division provides a Mobile Food Truck Inspection Guide to help you prepare for your inspection. This is a guide for individuals applying for a food truck permit to help you through the inspection and permitting process. Once you have completed the checklist, use the City of Round Rock Permit Portal to schedule your inspection. There are currently no fees for these inspections.
Locations where mobile food trucks are parked may require a Mobile Food Establishment Permit. For more information, visit the Planning and Development Services page for Mobile Food Establishment Permits.
Event Tents
Planning an event and need some shade? We have prepared a guide with helpful information to prepare you for your safety inspection. Keep in mind, you will have to have an inspection and permit issued for the following:
- Event Tent or with 1 or more walls over 400 square feet.
- Event Tents with no walls over 700 square feet.
- Membrane structure over 400 square feet.
