A Live Music Tradition in Round Rock
The Music on Main series was established in 2013, quickly becoming a beloved tradition in Round Rock. Other music that is also on Main Street includes Hometown Parklet Shows and Hometown Holidays Parklet Shows. Scroll down for complete schedules of upcoming live music events. With diverse genres of music each season, these free live concerts are hosted by the City of Round Rock Arts and Culture.
What Music is Happening on Main Street in December?
Hometown Holiday Performances: We’re hosting live music events five nights a week along East Main Street and at the Prete Plaza stage from December 3-21, 2024! Concerts take place twice nightly on Tuesdays through Saturdays, at varying locations (parklets on East Main Street and the Prete Plaza stage). Please note: Each Wednesday night of the season expect Music on Main-styled fun with a headliner concert from 7pm-9pm at Prete Plaza. Complete schedule below!

Fun at past live music events
A Decade of Music
The Music on Main series, established in 2013, has is beloved tradition in Round Rock. With diverse genres of music, these free live concerts are hosted by the City of Round Rock Arts and Culture.
In 2021, the City of Round Rock became a certified Music Friendly Community, through the State of Texas Music Office. Appropriately, we celebrated this designation with a ceremony during Music on Main!
Offshoots of the Music on Main series include the Lunchtime Parklet Series in Spring and Fall, as well as the Hometown Holidays Parklet Shows throughout December.
