Communicating with Council

City Council Meetings
All Council meetings are held at City Hall, 221 E. Main St., on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m., unless indicated otherwise. Council meetings can be viewed live on Spectrum cable channel 10, Uverse channel 99 and roundrocktexas.gov/tv. Council agendas are posted online and on the bulletin boards at City Hall 72 hours prior to meetings as required by law. Below are upcoming meetings for City Council. City Council Membership
All Council Members are elected at large and serve the entire City, not a geographic precinct, for a three-year term. The Mayor Pro-Tem is appointed annually by Council Members. City Council positions are not full-time jobs.

- May 2024: Place 3 and Place 5
- May 2025: Place 2 and Place 6
- May 2026: Mayor, Place 1 and Place 4
Round Rock City Council Members
Code of Ordinances
The City of Round Rock contracts with Municipal Code Corporation, or Municode.com to maintain its code of ordinances. Please click on the link below to go to the Round Rock’s Municode Site.
The Code of Ordinances is updated on a monthly basis. In addition all new ordinances are posted in PDF format on our Municode site the week after a City Council meeting and remain there until the Code is updated.

Council Agendas
Round Rock City Council meetings are available for live streaming or viewing online after the meeting at Round Rock Replay. Agendas are posted at Round Rock Replay at least 72 hours prior to the Council Meeting.
Completed minutes are usually available 2-3 weeks after the meeting date, allowing time for Council review and the posting of the final version.
Unless noted otherwise, all meetings are held at 6 p.m. in Council chambers at City Hall, 221 E. Main St.
Council meetings are televised live on Time Warner Cable Channel 10. Replays run on Channel 10 at
- 7 p.m. Sunday and Wednesday, and
- 4 p.m. Saturday.
