The City has hired the engineers at American Structurepoint to develop plans for intersection improvements consisting of a roundabout at the intersection of Sam Bass and Hairy Man Road.  These improvements are intended to improve traffic flow and safety at the intersection. Two schematics will be developed with one consisting of a typical single circle roundabout and a second consisting of an oblong roundabout configuration to fit the geometry of the intersection due to the skewed roadways.  The City will decide which one will best fit the roadway and continue with full plans specifications and estimates (PS&E) to move the project to construction.

An Open House was held on October 8^th for the public to view the two different concepts for the intersection improvements.
