For door-to-door sales
Solicitation permits for door-to-door sales are required if personal contact with the residents is to be made. Applications are accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Round Rock Police Department located at 2701 N. Mays Street. There is a flat fee of $50 per permit and permits are valid for three months.
Please note that some neighborhood associations do not permit any soliciting and you may not solicit in those neighborhoods even with a solicitation permit.
Requirements:
- A valid license or ID
- A copy of your criminal history from Texas Department of Public Safety
- Please allow 48 hours for the application to be reviewed
- Appointments should be made for a groups of three or more
