This project reconstructs a significant portion of the intersection of the IH 35 frontage roads at University Blvd/RM 1431 and Westinghouse Road.  Improvements include reversing the northbound entrance and exit ramps at University Boulevard, construction of a collector/distributor at University Boulevard and construction of turnaround structures at both intersections.

The project will also widen the University Boulevard/RM 1431 overpass to six lanes, construct acceleration and deceleration lanes to improve traffic flow and add auxiliary lanes on the north bound frontage road from University Boulevard to Westinghouse Road. This is a TxDOT managed project with local funding participation from the City of Round Rock.
