About the General Plan
Every 10 years the Planning & Community Development Department revises the General Plan, which is the City's official policy document guiding physical growth and development. The General Plan covers a broad variety of issues impacting the city, ranging from historic preservation to transportation to the environment and directly affects the city's quality of life and business environment.
Currently the General Plan is in the process of being updated, and we would like to invite you to contribute your input. During the next couple of months, there will be a series of public meetings, which the entire community is welcome to attend. By involving participants in all-inclusive discussions and brainstorming sessions, the meetings will present ample opportunity to contribute, which is a crucial component of the update process.
