Straight out of Waco, Pride and Joy will perform in the second concert of the Round Rock Parks and Recreation and La Frontera Summer Concert Series. Pride and Joy’s "Electrified Blues", with a hint of Jazz, Funk, and Rock, will be featured on Thursday, July 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the La Frontera Central Green.
Opening for Pride and Joy is 'W.' He is from Austin and is in the process of recording his 2nd CD "Anticipation.” 'W' is 14 years old and will be attending Round Rock High School this upcoming year.
The goal of the Summer Concerts is to highlight up and coming artists from the local music scene. Past artists in the series include Los Lonely Boys, WideAwake, the Jon Barry Project, Aaron Watson, Rick Trevino, and Guy Forsyth. The free concert is on Thursday, July 20, from 7:30 pm– 9:30 pm at the La Frontera Central Green (301 Sundance Pkwy at the intersection of La Frontera Blvd and Sundance Pkwy).
