The Round Rock Eagle Scouts will hold a blood drive to benefit the Armed Services Blood Program from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 at the TXARNG Armory at 1000 South IH 35 (exit 252B).
Most donated blood cells must be used within 42 days of collection or be useless, putting the troops in a constant need of blood.
This blood drive, sponsored by Life Scout Nic Lush, will collect blood donations for the Robertson Blood Center at Fort Hood.
Blood donations collected will be sent to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of our deployed troops.
Appointments are not necessary but may be made at Military Life Force.
Directions
