A freedom walk, parade, jalapeno pepper contest, children’s games, Ballet Folklorico dancers, Sam Bass Shootout and fireworks are all part of the City of Round Rock’s July 4 Frontier Days Celebration 2008.
Along with help from Round Rock Sertoma club spearheading the parade, the City and Frontier Days team have scheduled a day of fun starting with a Footsteps 4 Freedom fun walk, the annual parade, pony rides, inflateables and children’s games, arts and crafts vendors, Ballet Folklorico dancers and a reenactment of the historical Sam Bass Shootout, all leading up to the annual fireworks celebration.
In support of the City of Round Rock Adopt a Unit Campaign, consider bringing donations to put towards care packages to be mailed to our heroes. Fill the donation truck during the parade at 10 am and/or bring your donations to the Lakeview Pavilion during the watermelon giveaway at 7 pm. Thanks for your support!
