The City of Round Rock will host a public meeting for the purpose of updating property owners and residents on the proposed Chisholm Trail Road Widening from Hotel Center to north of Sam Bass Road and the Chisholm Parkway Extension from Chisholm Trail Road to the IH 35 southbound frontage road. The proposed widening of Chisholm Trail Road to a four-lane divided roadway is approximately 1.1 miles long. The proposed extension of the existing four-lane Chisholm Parkway is approximately 0.17 miles long. The proposed improvements are in accordance with the Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) 2008-2011 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), which was adopted February 12, 2007 and the City of Round Rock’s 2004 Transportation Master Plan.
The neighborhood meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Round Rock Public Library, Room A. The Public Library is located at 216 E. Main Street in Round Rock. All interested citizens are invited to attend and ask questions about the proposed improvements. The meeting agenda is shown as follows.
