Pitch Hit and Run is a free Major League Baseball Skills Competition that provides boys and girls, ages 7 to 14, the opportunity to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities and prove who is the best all around skills player!
Winners can advance through four levels of competition, including Team Championship events at the 30 Major League ballparks and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game.
If you are ages 7 to 14 and would like information on participating in the 2007 Pitch, Hit & Run program, please view the Local Competitions listings. You may also print out a flyer that can be taken to a potential hosting organization or volunteer in your community.
Local winners advance to a Sectional Competition that will be held at the Dell Diamond against winners from around Central Texas. Sectional winners’ score are then compared across the southern half of Texas and Louisiana with the top four advancing to compete at Houston Astros’ Team Championship.
Registration begins at 8 am and the competition goes until finished. Athletes compete against other youth in their age bracket.
