The Planning & Community Development Department is holding an informational meeting concerning the annexation of the Georgetown Railroad property south of FM 1431 (part of the Texas Crushed Stone property – see map).  This approximate 805 acre tract will expand the northwest sector of our city considerably.  Representatives from both the Planning and Transportation Departments will be on hand to answer questions concerning proposed land uses and transportation implications for the area.  The attached map illustrates the area proposed for annexation along with proposed land uses.
