The Round Rock Public Library Gardening Series continues with Soil Building with Cover Crops from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 16.

When building a house, you don't start with the roof, you start with a solid foundation.

When building a garden, you don't start with your plants, you start with a healthy soil.

While you can build that healthy soil with lots of labor and lots of amendments, there are easier ways to create a solid garden foundation. Come discover how "green manure" and cover cropping can loosen clay, soften caliche, and add great amendments to your soil.
