Plant a Tree for Arbor Day!
Join the City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department in celebrating the 11th annual Arbor Day Tree Planting.
Why: Arbor Day is America's National Tree Holiday, a day set aside to plant ceremonial trees, educate the public about the importance of trees, and honor the vital role trees play in our everyday lives.
Where: Rock Hollow Park, 1415 Apollo Cir., off Old Settlers Blvd. in the Chandler Creek neighborhood
When: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 28, 2012
Help plant more than 100 trees at Rock Hollow Park! Water and needed supplies are provided. Volunteers should bring work gloves and wear boots. Free trees and t-shirt.
