The Clay Madsen Recreation Center will host a lifeguard training class from September 22-24. The class starts Friday, Sept 22 at CMRC from 5-9 PM and will meet Sept 23 and 24 (Sat and Sun) all day, with some class time being held at Lake Creek Pool. The certified class instructor is Andrew Ingalls.
Anyone interested in being a lifeguard and learning how to save lives can participate in the training class. Learn about the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard as well as lifesaving techniques, CPR and First Aid. The class is $150 and the certification is good for 3 years (the CPR portion must be updated every year). Participants must be at least 15 years of age and must pass a swimming pre-test.
