Author Joan Upton Hall will speak about historic Texas jails at Round Rock Public Library from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the Friends of the Library meeting.
This event is free and open to the public.
Hall makes all of Texas her playground for finding interesting locations to write about. She will talk especially about her book, Just Visitin’: Old Texas Jails along with her nationwide anthology, Ghostly Tales from America’s Jails. That book includes four spooky Texas historical hoosegows plus many more across the U.S.
