Texas State University-San Marcos, Round Rock Higher Education Center, presents a free viewing of the documentary "No Impact Man," that will conclude with a moderated discussion.
The documentary is about Colin Beavan, a New York City writer, who embarks on an experiment to live one year with as little impact on the environment as possible. The problem is the project requires his wife and their daughter to be fully on board. The family embarks on a journey of no electricity, television, cars, toilet paper, elevators, or newspapers.
This showing is part of the 2010-2011 Common Experience theme of Sustainability: Science, Policy, and Opportunity.
