This is a special called meeting and public hearing to review the final draft of Places & Spaces: General Plan 2010-2020. Copies of the draft General Plan are available for public review at the Library, the Planning Department, and online. The Plan's progress is chronicled on the General Plan Blog.
The Planning & Zoning Commission (P&Z) is a nine-member citizen panel that reviews land development applications, including all subdivision plats within the city limits. It also makes a recommendation to the City Council for or against the adoption of all zoning and rezoning applications. The Planning & Zoning Commission meets approximately every 5-6 weeks.
