The City of Round Rock's Parks and Recreation Department will host a tree planting from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 6 at Meadow Lake Park.
The tree planting will take place around the park trail, pavilion, entrance, and road. The 114 trees are quite large: 45 gallon, 10-12 feet tall. The City has partially dug the holes and covered them with plastic in preparation for the group.
Shovels and water will be provided. Bring gloves and wear appropriate shoes and clothing for the outdoors.
When you arrive, park along the road and then sign in at the pavilion.
Note: There are no restrooms at the park. There is a gas station nearby on Sunrise.
