The Colorado River Foundation presents its first annual premiere canoe and kayak race: the Colorado River Ramble, a 5 mile recreational and 10 mile sport race on Lady Bird Lake benefiting the Colorado River Foundation with a spotlight on adaptive paddling and Wounded Veterans, presented by BAE Systems. Everyone is encouraged to participate - beginner and competitive paddlers, children and families, Wounded Veterans and others with adaptive paddling needs.

The race will take place 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 28. The day will end with an awards celebration held during the Colorado River Foundation's annual Family Fun Water Festival at the LCRA Redbud Center, including live music, food, drinks and door prizes.

Entry fees

• 5 mile race: $25 solo; $50 tandem
• 10 mile race: $30 solo; $60 tandem
