Black History Month: A Day in Africa with Elizabeth Kahura

The Round Rock Public Library presents A Day in Africa with Elizabeth Kahura in meeting Room C at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, as part of its Black History Month celebration.

Born and raised in Kenya, Elizabeth Kahura uses her experiences there as inspiration for her presentations. Her show demonstrate the similarities and differences between US and African cultures.  It includes A Day in Africa which covers the geography, culture, and lifestyle., A main goal of these performances is to encourage a more tolerant attitude towards cultural differences.
