The Round Rock Concert Series continues at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16 with Texas Country from Paul Eason at the Round Rock Amphitheater, 301 Bagdad.
Admission is free. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Coolers are allowed, but no glass. Pets must be on leashes.
Texas Country has several different sub-genres and Paul Eason likes to play them all from Red Dirt to swing to Americana to Texas Shuffle. Originally, Paul Eason was interested in rock and punk music as a kid, but studied Jazz and learned to play country guitar in high school and college.
Paul Eason says he is all about producing music that makes people dance, sing and enjoy life. His debut single, One More Dance, hit number three on the Texas Music Chart. The following single titled, Keepin’ It ‘Tween the Lines, made it to number 13 on the Chart and was the title song for his debut album. Paul Eason has played all across Texas with his band and alongside other Texas and Country artists, such as, Roger Creager, Jack Ingram, Randy Rodgers, the Pat Green Band and many others.
The band is currently on tour promoting their newest album, Paul Eason-The Mountains of Nuevo Leon with a stop in Round Rock for the Concert Series. The concerts are free each month.
