The Property Crimes Unit investigates arson, residential, commercial and vehicle burglaries, all misdemeanor and felony thefts, motor vehicle thefts, pawn shops and vandalism, the possession, purchasing, or receiving of stolen property and organized criminal activity.

The unit is currently staffed with five detectives. All of our detectives have been assigned to every area of the City of Round Rock.

Responsibiltiies include screening reports and assigning cases for investigations by detective caseload. He also presents cases to the District Attorneys office and provides assistance with case investigations.
