Open Records Request  | How to obtain a department report

The Police Records Unit processes, files and maintains all police reports received by the department. All requests for copies of reports are also processed by this unit. The unit currently handles over 40,000 records each year in addition to filing accident reports and Uniform Crime Reports with the State of Texas. Records unit staff also handle all non-emergency telephone calls during business hours and can promptly route your call to the appropriate person or division.
