
The Evidence and Property Control Unit is responsible for maintaining the integrity of evidence and chain of custody of all property that comes into their possession in accordance with state laws, city ordinances and departmental policies and procedures.
Katie Schumacher, Evidence Control Supervisor is responsible for receiving, storing, releasing and maintaining security of a wide variety of items. Property received by the Evidence Unit includes but is not limited to cash, jewelry, guns and various weapons, narcotics, bikes, blood samples, urine samples and other evidence related to assaults, homicides and other crimes.
Property may be picked up at the Round Rock Police Department located at 2701 North Mays, main lobby. To find out the status of your property please call 512-341-3130. Property is released by appointment only.
