The Round Rock Communications Unit is the link between the community and the Police Department, Fire Department, and Animal Control Services.

There are more than twenty Telecommunications Operators and Supervisors who work 24-hours a day answering emergency and non-emergency phone calls, monitoring and dispatching emergency personnel on more than a dozen radio channels giving the highest level of service to the citizens of Round Rock. 

Our team of highly trained, dedicated professionals is led by Communications Operations Manager Leigh Carrico.
