Several options are available to expand our current deliverable capacity of 39 MGD to 48 MGD of raw water from Lake Georgetown to our Water Treatment Plant (WTP). Based on CDM's 2005 Raw Water Delivery System analysis, the most efficient way to deliver this amount of water to our newly expanded 48 MGD WTP is to replace the 3.6 MGD pump 1, 2 & 3 with new 7.2 MGD pumps, including a motor control center. Also, required to deliver 48 MGD of raw water to our WTP is the replacement of approximately 20,000 linear feet of 30" CSC water line with the same length of 48" ductile iron (DI) water line.
