Commercial Recycling Options

The City provides a variety of opportunities for residents to recycle in Round Rock.  The Drop-Off Recycling Center, located at 310 Deepwood Drive, is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Residents can drop off recyclables that can't be recycled curbside or dispose of their Household Hazardous Waste (paint, fertilizers, and other household chemicals) during a scheduled collection event.

Garbage, lumber, rocks & landscape material, mattresses, old furniture and any other unacceptable items may be taken to the Williamson County Landfill located in Hutto.

Leaves and Grass Clippings
Bagged leaves and grass clippings are accepted from Round Rock residents daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Drop-Off Recycling Center.

Free Re-Use Items
Before you buy paint, fertilizer, cleaning products or other common household chemicals, make sure to check out the Re-USE Building at the Recycling Center.

Appliance Recycling
Non-freon appliances such as old washers, dryers, stoves and hot water heaters can be recycled at the Drop-Off Recycling Center during normal business hours.

Freon-containing appliances such as refrigerators, freezers or air conditioner units CAN NOT be accepted at this location. This also includes appliances that at one time contained freon.

Your used eyewear represents a new world of opportunity for someone in need in a developing country. OneSight is a family of charitable programs dedicated to improving vision through outreach, research and education. Since 1988, OneSight has helped millions see their world more clearly and donated millions to support research and education. OneSight volunteers will clean, repair, recycle and hand-deliver your glasses to those in need. Two million pairs of recycled glasses are needed each year!

Gasoline
The Center can accept five (5) gallons or less and the gasoline must be in an approved gas container (not in a milk or other plastic jug). Please hand material directly to a City attendant on site. The gas container(s) will be returned if name and phone number are provided on the container(s).
