Recognizing exceptional service and achievement
In 2007, the Fire Chief and the Round Rock Fire Department initiated the Chief's Coin program (initially called the Coin of Excellence). The Chief's Coin provides the Fire Chief an effective means to recognize fire and civilian personnel for exceptional service and achievement.
Uniquely personal in its presentation and tied to the pride and history reflected in the Fire Department's patch, the Chief's Coin significantly contributes to the spirit, pride, morale and cohesion of an organization.
