
Below are the park projects that the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department has in development in 2007.
Round Rock West Trail Development
This project involves the construction of a crushed granite mulit-purpose trail, approximately a 1/4 mile in length, to replace the existing pathway. Standard park amenities will also be installed during construction.

Old Settler's Park Lakeside Trail Improvement
Improvements include new concrete trail from the Lakeview Pavilion along the lake and connecting to the first tee box of the disc golf course. This project will also include a new bridge structure and park amenities. Project Budget: $250,000

Round Rock Skate Park
All concrete construction, this park is comprised of a bowl and street course for our skating community.

Greater Lake Creek Park Development
The Greater Lake Creek Park Project involves three existing park properties and several parcels of land that the City already has or will aquire. Clay Madsen Park, Greenlawn Park, and Lake Creek Park will all receive improvements in the form of new development and/or renovations. These three parks will also be connected with a hike & bike trail approximately 2 miles in length. This project also includes amenities such as an in-line hockey court, new playground structures, and the City's first dog park.

OSPV Sports Complex Development
The design of improvements to the Old Settlers Park baseball, softball, and tennis complexes will create top notch sports and recreational facitilies the whole family can enjoy. The design concept includes converting the existing softball fields to a baseball complex, building two new softball complexes, building a restroom facility at the tennis complex, and renovating the remainder of the baseball complexes to reflect our hill country surroundings and sports enthusiasm.

Meadow Lake Trail Development
This project involves the construction of hike & bike trail along the North side of Meadow Lake. The trail is approximately 1.5 miles, and will include park amenities. Implementation of this project is part of the Citywide Trails Master Plan.

Project Funding: Self Financed
