Mission Statement:
Our mission is to ensure roadway expansion, improvements and construction projects are built by the private sector and the City through a comprehensive approach to planning, design, construction and inspection. 

Transportation Services key goals are:

• implement improvements to City streets as identified in the Transportation Master Plan (TMP) and Transportation Capital Improvement Program (TCIP);
• support and execute improvements to state highway roads as identified in the TMP;
• improve mobility and safety for our citizens through the implementation of traffic management system strategies; 
• plan and execute maintenance of streets, traffic signals, drainage and signals and markings; and
• maintain and repair City vehicles and equipment.
