Learn about new sign ordinance at April 2 open house

The City of Round Rock Planning and Development Services Department invites you to a public open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the Community Room of the McConico Building, 301 W. Bagdad Ave. The City Council adopted a new sign ordinance on March 14 which applies to the City and ETJ and went into effect immediately.

Now that the new ordinance is in effect, the open house will be an opportunity for sign professionals and business owners to learn about the content of the new ordinance, get copies of the new sign ordinance application packet, and ask City staff questions.

Over the past few years, a sign taskforce, the Planning and Zoning Commission, homeowners and neighborhood associations, the City Council, sign companies, the Texas Sign Association and local businesses worked with city staff to develop new regulations.
