Round Rock residents identified Downtown plaza parks as a number two priority in the Game Plan 2020 Parks Master Plan. The Town Green Plaza Improvements project (development of a central town green adjacent to the water tower and bound by Main St., Liberty Ave., May St. and Blair St.) will provide for a sense of community and connectivity in downtown Round Rock while reflecting the importance of our history.
Features for the some of the downtown plazas may include interactive water features, art in public places, landscape beautification and festival areas. When completed, the plaza green spaces will provide a gateway into downtown Round Rock and will reflect the welcoming character of the Round Rock community.
