Weight Room Orientation  | Boot Camp Training  | Yoga Classes
Group Exercise Classes | Jazzercise 

The Clay Madsen Recreation Center offers a variety of fitness and wellness programs to our members and our community throughout the year.  For specific session information, dates and times and convenient online registration visit www.roundrockrecreation.com

Boot Camp Training
Kick start you day with Boot Camp Training!  All over body workout including cardio, weights, plymetrics and muscle conditioning. Geared to beginner and advanced fitness levels. Improve yourself and your day!  This class consists of four weeks of fitness that will focus on losing body fat, gaining strength and flexibility, and cardiovascular exercise.  Ages 16 years and older. 

Group Exercise Classes - Floor & Aqua
Clay Madsen Recreation Center values health and exercise and provides a variety of group exercise classes to our members for free.  Non-members must pay the visitor pass rate at $5/class.  Class participation is limited based on space and equipment.

Personal Training
It’s time to get serious about becoming physically fit.  Let one of our personal trainer’s help you get there. Our trainers will help you change the way you look at working out and provide guidance on how to live a healthier lifestyle. 

Personal training is only available for Rec Center membersOne free consultation is given to all Rec Center members

Weight Room Certification
This class certifies CMRC Youth Members ages 14 and 15 year olds who wish to workout in the Rec Center weight room without a parent or guardian. Participants learn weight room rules, proper weight room etiquette and basic training techniques.   Please see the CMRC Front Desk to set up an appointment.   Fee: $10

Weight Room Orientation
Are you new to working out? Or just interested in learning how to use the machines in the CMRC weight room? This 15 minute class will show you the general rules of the weight room along with weight room etiquette. You will learn proper technique for our machines. Please see the CMRC front desk staff to schedule your orientation!

Yoga and Hula Hoop Fitness Fusion
A great alternative to a traditional workout.  All fitness and hooping levels are welcome, No experience necessary.  Combining the benefits of Yoga and Hula Hooping builds core strength, reduces stress, increases vitality and improves coordination.  Ages 16 years and older.

Yoga Classes
The Clay Madsen Recreation Center offers a variety of yoga classes for different skill levels and fitness goals. Monthly session classes are offered for each Yoga class.  Early registration is encouraged.  Yoga classes offered include Better Backs, Chair and Meditation, Monkey Monkey Yoga for Kids, Relax and Renew, Aqua Yoga, Simply Yoga & Yoga Hoop Fusion. With a variety of classes offered, there is sure to be a yoga class for you!  Classes are designed for all levels from beginner to advanced and specialized.   
 
Zumba Party’s
Ditch the workout and join the party.  Zumba Party’s are special 2 hour workouts that include Zumba Fun and Fitness.  Each Zumba Party is packed full of fun, fitness, refreshments and door prizes.  Early registration is encouraged.  Ages 14 Years and older.

Fitness Specialty Series
These weight management programs are designed to deliver results, whether your goal is losing weight, gaining muscle, toning shape or improving fitness. Each session will challenge your cardiovascular and muscular strength and stamina. You will participate in  two small group workouts each week that focuses on improving strength, power, and calorie expenditure. Our exercise intensity will provide great results while the trainer and small group camaraderie will help maintain your motivation. Classes include Summer Slim Down, Beach Body Blast, Let the Weight Fall Off and more.  Sign up early as Space is limited!

Jazzercise
This 60 minute class held at the Baca Center & Clay Madsen Recreation Center offers a blend of jazz dance and exercise set to  favorite music - Top 40, jazz, country, funk and classics. Easy-to-follow, fun choreography includes a gentle warm up, 30-minute aerobic workout, muscle toning and strengthening segment with weights and a stretch finale. Classes are held continuously throughout the year and you can start anytime!
