Danny Halden P.E. City Engineer, Engineering and Development Services Director

The Engineering and Development Services Department strives to provide the public a high quality of life by ensuring proper and safe development by the private sector and proper, safe, cost-effective and efficient rehabilitation, expansion and maintenance of city infrastructure.

As the Director of the Engineering and Development Services Department, Danny Halden is responsible for the Building Inspection, Construction Inspection, Development Services and Engineering Divisions.

In addition, Mr. Halden is a Professional Engineer and serves as the City Engineer coordinating policy and procedures associated with the design and construction of public infrastructure and private buildings as assigned to or reviewed by his department.

Mr. Halden is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and serves as the City’s Floodplain Administrator coordinating policy and procedures associated with floodplain management including the City’s participation in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
