The Round Rock the Boat Regatta pits homemade cardboard boats in a fun race at Old Settlers Park.
The 2013 Round Rock the Boat Regatta is Saturday, May 4, 2013. The pits will open at 9:30 a.m. and the races will begin at 11 a.m.

You may also register and take part in our "MudQuest Family Adventure" that will also take place the same day from 9 to 11 a.m.
Free Boat Building Schools
Old Settlers Park will be full of spectators waiting to see who will float, sink or swim at Round Rock the Boat Regatta. Contestants make boats out of cardboard and tape and will rely on their inventions to keep them afloat as they race across the lake at Old Settlers Park.

Mini Boat Regatta
Attention kids! Make sure you take part in our Mini Boat Regatta event! You may purchase a Balsa wood sailboat, decorate it, then race it in a Gutter duct filled with water, propelled by your wind! Mini boat kits are on sale now for only $5 at the Parks and Recreation Main Office or at the event. Please check in at 10 a.m. and the races begin at 10:15 a.m. Each child will win a prize!
